Abstract

Pressure changes in the diesel injection system result in the growth and collapse of gas bubbles. In order to analyze the injection characteristic of fuel injection system under gas-liquid two-phase conditions, and predict the influence of bubble for injection characteristic, a mathematical model of gas bubble is studied based on the physical processes of gas bubble resolving and releasing. The model is applied to the simulation of diesel injection system. According to the simulation and experiment results, the feasibility of gas bubble model is verified.
