Modeling of FOM/SOM development process

In order to create FOM and SOM and insure federation executing correctly, interactive data in the simulation system should be abstracted and modeled when developing distributed simulation system under HLA protocol. A processing model of seven steps was proposed to develop FOM and SOM altogether. And the function of each step was defined in detail. Those steps are: abstract and modeling Entity and events styles from simulation mission, divide simulation mission into sub-mission for each federate and define entity and events styles for each federate, define object class and interaction class in FOM, create SOM draft, synthesize all SOMs into a FOM draft, define routine space and create a formal FOM, and at last step, create formal SOMs.
