Abstract
Basing on rheological dynamics, a damper with sealed clearance type of annular gap structure is applied to a landing gear and analyzed. Its mechanical model is established based on the Bingham model and forces exerted on the damper are simplified. Numerical simulation results show that the mechanical model of the damper presented here can reflect the dynamic characteristics of the landing gear damper and is applicable for the landing gear damper.
