Abstract

This paper investigates the dynamic modeling and the simulation of a slung-load system for a helicopter. A slinging-flight model, a flexible suspension cable model, a takeoff and landing model and an underwater towed model are established respectively according to the separated modeling method, which can meet the requirement of multi-task simulation for the helicopter with a slung-load. The simulation of the slung-load system is completed through the interaction with a helicopter flight simulation system, and it proves the rationality of the model.
