Abstract
The concept of flyable boom was adopted in the Air-to-Air refueling system, it is obvious that refueling speed is faster than the traditional refueling hose from tanker to receiver. The flyable boom works in the intense and unstable airflow condition, not only the precise mathematical models need to be constructed, but also the stability of flyable boom is concerned during the refueling. The linear quadratic regulator flight control law was designed and it can make the flyable boom hold attitude better effectively. In nonlinear simulation of MATLAB and associated simulation condition of MATLAB and ADAMS, the good results were obtained.
