N2 - The vibration of the main landing gear is principally generated during the aircraft landing process, which not only affects the safety of aircraft, but also causes the wear and tear on components, thereby affecting the reliability of the landing gear system. The vibration is induced by various factors, related to the natural frequency range of landing gear structure in the root. Hence modal analysis is of the first importance to investigate the vibration and suppression of the landing gear. In this paper, six-wheel bogie landing gear is under research by establishing finite element model in modal analysis through the use of Hypermesh, and obtaining its first six natural frequencies and mode shapes based on Nastron solver. Conclusions drawn by comparative analysis on the first-order modal frequency under different influencing factors can be helpful for the follow-up research on the anti-skid induced vibration and suppression of multi-wheel bogie landing gear.
