Abstract

Reliability analysis of man-machine system is necessary since the combination of human and machine has great influences on the mission reliability of the system. It is obvious that human can't be treated as a hardware or software in the system due to the cognition ability, as well as the interaction between human and machine. To take the human cognition ability and the interaction between human and machine into consideration, a method to analyze the mission reliability of man-machine system is given in this paper. On the basis of IDA model, a cognitive model of operator and the classification of performance influence factors (PIFs) according to the cognitive process of human are given in the method. Finally, a simple numerical example is described to illustrate the method in this paper.
