Abstract
A simple and flexible method was presented for the calculation model establishment used in the liquid propellant rocket engine (LRE) numerical simulation. By adopting this method, the original program does not need to be modified. A new engine project can be studied by setting up the corresponding input files only. Compared with other methods, the basic unit of this mathematical model established through this way was not the components of engine but the formula of the mathematical model. The results of static characteristic simulation and fault simulation of gas oxygen-alcohol test-bed were also given, which demonstrate that the method is easy to use, smaller in the calculational quantity and faster in the calculational rate.
