Abstract

Considering the future trend of multi-domain integration and information confrontation operations, this paper proposes the concept of “meta battlefield” operations from the perspectives of war system design, intelligent combat equipment and man-machine combat effectiveness. Through the development of a systematic new concept of global man-machine cooperative combat, the way of man-commanded unmanned equipment combat mode can reduce casualties and improve combat effectiveness. In the design of “meta battlefield”, the development trend of sea, land, air and space equipment such as penetration weapons and equipment, multi-mode aircraft, modular intelligent equipment and underwater navigation equipment is considered. Focus on typical combat tasks such as multi-domain operations, non-traditional operations, and border patrol, build a global combat unit with individual soldiers as the command core and multiple intelligent and modular unmanned units as the combat entity. Furthermore, decentralized distributed situational awareness equipment is applied to improve information acquisition capabilities and processing capabilities. MR, AR and other advanced means are also used to build a virtual battlefield for warfighters to improve situational awareness and decision-making ability. The operation mode of remote command and intelligent cooperative operation with unmanned equipment is designed. Finally, from the perspective of human-machine interaction, we design the fatigue detection of virtual combat partners and combatants to improve the effectiveness of human-machine interaction. Through the above concepts and ideas to promote the construction of national defense system and military thought innovation. The operation mode of remote command and intelligent cooperative operation with unmanned equipment is designed. Finally, from the perspective of human-machine interaction, the functions of fatigue detection and virtual combat partners are designed to improve the effectiveness of human-machine interaction. The above concepts and ideas are help to promote the construction of national defense system and military thought innovation.
