Measurement of temperature and flow field in cabin on natural convection

Research output: Chapter in Book/Report/Conference proceedingConference contributionpeer-review

Abstract

This paper investigated the actual condition of flow field and temperature field in cabin. By applying the PIV and PLIF technique as the measurements, we obtained that PIV measurement acquisition frequency is 0.5 Hz; the acquisition time of 300 s is suitable. For PLIF measurement, the concentration of 25 μg/L of Rhodamine B fluorescent agent could prove a good linear relationship. From the numerical simulation, we analyze the error of the measurement.
