Abstract

The increasing demand for major infrastructure construction and large open-pit coal mines in China has driven the rapid development of large mining excavator. At present, the research is not completely figured out the change law of the external load and the degradation law of the working performance of the working device of the mining excavator during operation. Therefore, this paper intends to carry out research on the common basic scientific problems of performance degradation of super-large mining excavator working devices. A simplified model of the working device of the mining excavator is constructed, and the force analysis of the bucket mechanism is carried out. Then using EDEM discrete element simulation method to explore the time-domain and frequency-domain rules of the working load of the mining excavator working device under typical working conditions. On the basis of the load data, combined with the Palmgren-Miner fatigue cumulative damage theory, the fatigue life law of the mining excavator working device under typical working conditions is explored by using the method of COMSOL finite element simulation. The load law and fatigue life law of bucket teeth obtained in this study provide a valuable theoretical basis and a new research idea for the study of fault identification.
