Abstract
Technical Product- Service Systems (PSS) define a customized solution in which the product is complemented by life cycle-oriented services. Due to the long lifetime of PSS, the energy consumption is an important issue from an ecological and economic perspective. This article describes an approach to analyze the life-cycle oriented energy demand of PSS by the use of the methodology of Cumulative Energy Demand (CED).
