abstract = "In this paper a fault-tolerant control system based on Kalman filter is presented to realize fault-tolerant control when there are multiples in aeroengine system. In this fault-tolerant control system, the fault estimation process and fault-tolerant regulation process is combined into one process to reduce the time cost of fault-tolerant control process, and the performance of the control system will be improved. The fault-tolerant regulator in this system is able to adjust its structure to adopt to different fault situations. According to the simulation results, the Kalman-based fault-tolerant control system is able to locate the faulty ones, estimate the variations of faults and minimize the influence of faults when the sensor faults and actuator faults coexist.",
