Abstract

Forward-swept configuration plays a more and more prominent role in the design of modern fighters because of its potential advantages. Force measurement in a low-speed wind tunnel was conducted to investigate the effects of the height of close canard wing on the longitudinal characteristics of a forward-swept configuration. The results indicate that it is more favorable for the aerodynamic characteristics to equip a higher close canard wing together with forward-swept angle of main wing increasing.
