Abstract
Adaptive squeeze film damper with metal rubber oil film ring (ASFD/MR) was designed to improve characteristics of the squeeze film force of the squeeze film damper (SFD). Comparative study on suppressing the non-synchronous response between ASFD/MR and SFD In this paper, was presented. It is shown that ASFD/MR has a well capability to suppress non-synchronous response and a better effect on reducing vibration.
