Abstract

An introduction to the reliability models of the component-based software is given. Software component reliability, component-based software reliability, and software profile should be considered for assessing the reliability of this kind of component-based software systems. Based on the analysis of these reliability models, some existing problems in this field are pointed out and some suggestions about the future research are offered.
