Abstract
Agent theory was applied to the intelligent control of aerial material shaping, and as a typical case, the casting of turbine blades was studied. The Multi-agent system's structure, communication and collaboration were studied particularly. The applying of agent divided the comprehensive blade casting process into many easy tasks, which could be dealt with easily by agents. Communication architecture of MAS was proposed. Based on the behavior of communication among agents, the communication mechanism, protocol and its formalization were researched, and also the way of collaboration was described in detail. Several practical models and key technologies were discussed based on XML. In the end, an example of intelligent monitoring system for blade casting process was proposed, which was proved to be an effective way to improve the blade quality.
