Integrated evaluation of system reliability using component's varied population-environment data

Research output: Contribution to journalArticlepeer-review

Abstract

Varied population-environment data which come from the testing phases of component developing course are recommended to be used by Lindstrom-Madden (L-M) method for integrated evaluation of system reliability. How to use varied environment data to evaluate reliabilities of varied population component and unvaried population component is described. Then, the improved L-M method is presented. An engineering instance of evaluation shows that the result of reliability is more accurate because of the increased samples which are used for evaluation of component reliability.
