Abstract

This paper studies the influence of stator's various parameters of longitudinal linear switched reluctance motor (LSRM) on tangential force and magnetic field strength. A series of typical candidates are applied to these parameters analyzed. The proposed LSRM configurations are compared by using two dimensional finite element analysis (FEA). And then we change the parameters of the initial to improve its performance. The propulsion force of FEA result shows that this model saves material at the loss of only 1.83% of force. And the research is instructive and meaningful to the production of the stators.
