Abstract
Gravity center modification method is introduced to improve the high-load fan blade design. Under the condition that the circumferential profiles are not changed, some kinds of blades with different stacking lines are created to control the value of blade stress and natural frequencies. Detailed 3-D flow simulations are then implemented in the cases that show the best structural strength and the original blade to validate the method. Gravity center modification method can be used in high-load rotor blade design in engineering.
