Abstract

In order to study the effect of size parameters on the mechanical properties of thin-walled composite cylinders with internal ribs, a finite element model of a thin-walled cylinder is established, and the cylinder mass, natural frequency and critical buckling load are calculated in ANSYS. The influence of two main dimension parameters on the mass, natural frequency and critical buckling load of the cylinder are investigated and the parameters with the greatest influence on the mass, natural frequency and critical buckling are found. The analysis results provide the theoretical basis for the cylinder Parameters optimization.
