Abstract

This paper proposes an improved cross-correlation signal processing algorithm for the velocity measurement of pneumatically conveyed solids using electrostatic sensors. The proposed algorithm increases the measurement accuracy in noisy environments and improves the dynamic response for real-time applications. The effectiveness of the proposed algorithm was evaluated through computer simulation and experimental tests.
