Abstract
An improved LMI representation for bounded real criterion is derived by employing a descriptor system approach. Due to its decoupling property between system matrices and Lyapunov matrices, the new criterion can reduce conservatism inherent in robust performance analysis of systems with convex polytope-type uncertainty. The results exhibit some favorable features in computation through two numerical examples.
