Abstract

For the implementation of real-time processing of a high-resolution SAR on the satellite based processing system, an efficient approach has been presented. The efficiency is improved by the redesign of the algorithm flow, and re-deduction of a new formulation. An approach is also presented to analyze and optimize the computation precision, precision of the phase of the compensate factor is improved based on high computational efficiency. The Refined CS algorithm is implemented on a 32-bit floating-point parallel DSP processing system with the capability of processing high resolution space-borne SAR data in real-time. The processing time of an echo block (16384 × 16384) is less than 28 seconds, and the quality of the image meet the system requirement.
