Abstract

A technique for channel decoder applied for the FOG inclinometer telemetry system is introduced. Manchester is an important encoder technique in the serial transmission and it has corresponding clock information. The project, which combines FPGA with LL-DPLL that is realized by Verilog HDL, can work out solutions to the problem of clock synchronization in the receiver. It can track the clock dynamically and ensure that it can improve the precision of digital transmission in inclinometer telemetry system. Lab experiments prove that the decoder can record the clock synchronously with the BER of digital transmission lower than 10-5, which meets the design request. Compared to other analog circuits, the project is characterized by easy integration with other system, convenient implementation and steady performance. Meanwhile, the project also has better performance in the aspect of anti-jamming than other digital methods.
