Abstract

This paper proposes an impact time and angle control guidance law with terminal speed constraint based on periodic delay feedback (PDF). First, for the line-of-sight (LOS) normal direction, a periodic delayed sliding mode surface is designed to guarantee the prescribed-time convergence of both the line-of-sight tracking error and the line-of-sight angular rate. Then a prescribed-time guidance law is developed to ensure that the guidance system reaches the desired sliding mode surface. Second, for the line-of-sight direction, a prescribed-time sliding mode guidance law is derived, which can guarantee the successful engagement at precisely the prescribed time while satisfying the desired terminal speed constraint. Compared with the existing impact time and angle control guidance law, the proposed guidance law introduces neither time-to-go estimation nor model linearization while offering adjustable convergence times. Finally, the efficacy of the developed guidance law is conclusively validated via numerical simulations.
