Abstract

High-resolution Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) can be equipped in the missile to improve the probability of hitting the target. But missile-borne SAR differs from conventional SAR because of the high diving speed, and the image formation is more different. This paper concentrates on the geometric relation and Doppler characteristic of missile-borne SAR. One work-mode equivalent to upright side-glance is chosen, and imaging simulation has been achieved, also corresponding geometry correction method is proposed.
