Abstract

The paper presents a preliminary study for identification of air/water and oil/water two-phase flow regime using electrical resistance tomography. The TERT-II system prototype developed in Tianjin University is briefly introduced. The experiments of air/water and oil/water are realized at different experiment set-ups. A novel method of identification regime based on analysis of measurement valtage is published. Through image reconstruction and analysis of raw voltages, the identification of flow regime are something possible.
