Abstract

Adaptive subspace detector (ASD) is a known target detection method for hyperspectral images (HSIs). The target template is required as the priori information in the traditional ASD. In this paper, we adapt ASD to hyperspectral anomaly detection with no priori information about the target. Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm is effective and works better than the classic anomaly detection algorithm-RX algorithm and some of its variants.
