Abstract
Lead titanate (PbTiO3) powders were synthesized via a hydrothermal method based on the reaction of TiO2, Pb(NO 3)3 and KOH at 160°C for 24h. The powders were characterized by XRD, SEM and TEM. The PbTiO3 particles consist of nearly homogenous and cubic grains. It can be sintered to ceramic above 1050°C, and the samples show higher dielectric constant value.
