Abstract

A new approach to stabilization of ZnO nanocrystals by ionic-liquid components, which endow the nanocrystals with high thermal stability and good fluidity, is demonstrated. The ionic-liquid/ZnO composites exhibit tunable photoluminescence (see picture) with a high quantum yield. (Figure Presented).
