Abstract
The GW103K alloy was successfully fabricated by laser coaxial wire additive manufacturing, and its high temperature tensile properties and deformation behavior were investigated at 200–300 °C. The results demonstrate that this alloy exhibits an excellent balance between elevated-temperature strength and ductility. At 250 °C, the alloy still maintains a relatively high tensile strength of 302 ± 7 MPa together with an outstanding elongation of 19.4 ± 2.9%. At temperatures below 250 °C, the deformation behavior is mainly dominated by intragranular slip accompanied by a limited amount of continuous dynamic recrystallization (CDRX). In contrast, at 300 °C, grain boundary sliding becomes the dominant deformation mode, and the recrystallization mechanism evolves from CDRX to a mixed CDRX + discontinuous dynamic recrystallization (DDRX) mechanism.
