High Reflectance Blue Phase LCoS with Positive and Negative Alternating Electrode

Abstract

A high reflectance (~ 80.62%) blue-phase (BP) LCoS with positive (P+) and negative (P-) alternating electrodes is proposed. By utilizing P+ and P-alternating electrodes on the top and bottom substrates respectively, the reflectance is increased and the operating voltage is greatly reduced.
