High power DC-DC converter for renewable energy power system

Abstract

Special demands are made on DC-DC converter by renewable energy power system, composing of such green power as fuel cell, solar cell, etc. For these requirements, the high-power step-up, step-down and step-up/down DC-DC converters, designed and developed by the research group at Beihang University on the application of High Power DC-DC converter in recent years, are introduced, focusing on analysis of the design of their topologies and control strategies. Some application examples and performance studies are also included.
