Abstract
Deep-cleaned hydrogen can be made available for fuel cells in one step. 1a vol% CO contained in hydrogen was removed to levels of less than 10a ppm over ruthenium-doped mesoporous Ni-Al oxides (see picture) by selective CO methanation, with a working temperature window greater than 50°C that included the 200-250°C range. The catalysts exhibited excellent long-term stability.
