Hardware-in-the-loop simulation of vehicle starting control method based on dSPACE

Abstract

A hardware-in-the-loop simulation platform of vehicle starting control system was established by utilizing system modeling method of matlab/simulink and environment of dSPACE software and hardware. Contraposing the characteristics of non-linearity, time-varying and multi-parameter existing in the vehicle starting control system, a hierarchical fuzzy control strategy was designed to conduct coordinate control of the clutch and throttle. A fuzzy control program for single-chip was written via logic deduction method. Based on the platform above, all the fuzzy control rules were adjusted and the hardware-in-the-loop simulation experiment was conducted. Result indicates that the strategy can satisfy the requirement of real-time performance with a good effect achieved meanwhile.
