Abstract

This paper first puts forward the concept of two-dimensional conforming Voronoi mesh, and studies the conditions on the existence of constrained segments in the final Voronoi mesh. A novel construction algorithm of conforming Voronoi mesh and related size and quality control algorithm are proposed. All the algorithms are guaranteed to terminate. Finally, examples are given to illustrate its efficiency. The techniques could be widely used in various applications.
