Abstract
A general projected iterative scheme (GPI) for image reconstruction with electrical capacitance tomography is introduced. This provides a mechanism to derive new faster algorithms for ECT. And a general optimized step length is derived for the scheme. At last, a general iterative-single step image reconstruction scheme (GISS) is presented. The simulation comparisons between GPI and GISS are given. The results show that GISS can be used in online image reconstruction owing to its fast image reconstruction, while GPI can provide a better image quality than GISS.
