Abstract

From concatenation view, this paper analyzed the relationship between quadratic prime codes and prime codes. It is concluded that quadratic prime codes can be constructed by concatenating the time-shift or frequency-shift versions of prime codes sequences. Based on this analysis, two new further thoughts are deduced to construct more families of frequency hopping sequences with same properties as that of quadratic prime codes. One is by exchanging the two components of the sequence number and corresponding prime codes sequences; the other is by multiplying the time-shift step pair by integers s={2,3, ⋯,P-1).
