Frequency-domain analysis of NASA67 unsteady flow field

Abstract

Based on fast fourier transformation for the typical profile of NASA67 unsteady flow field, the rotor-stator interactions, the circumferential distributions of typical unsteady perturbations at the rotor-stator interface and the inter-blade phase angle were analyzed in the frequency-domain. Also, some phenomena difficult to observe in time-domain were visualized in frequency-domain. Finally, the deterministic stresses from five-order harmonic synthesis and unsteady simulation were compared, meanwhile the feasibility and advantage of nonlinear harmonic method in modeling the deterministic stresses were analyzed.
