Abstract
A mathematical model for Reflecting Fiber-optic Current Transducer (R-FOCT) was established. The difference equation and transfer function of the system model were deduced. Frequency characteristics corresponding to the model were simulated. According to the principle of the Current Transducer, a method based on Lock-in Amplifier SR830 was put forward for testing frequency characteristics. Credibility of the calculation and testing method were verified by comparing the testing data and simulation results. The conclusion that the bandwidth of R-FOCT exceeded 6kHz was approved.
