Abstract

Aiming at the problems of the production line planning for Emergency Mobilization Batch Volume Production (EMBVP), the formation methodology of flow-line style manufacturing cell was presented. Objective function model, which minimized the sum of the inter-cell working procedure number, the cell load ratio and the production step balance value, was constructed. By analyzing the multi-product-type combination, production volume and due data, production step was defined and initial capacity requirements of the manufacturing system was evaluated. Initial manufacturing cell based on component processing route similarity analysis was constructed by cluster analysis methodology. Methods of the production process confirmation and the machine priority allocation scheme based on heuristics rules were put forward. Manufacturing cell adjustment based on production step balance was carried out, and the quantitative schema for shared machine among manufacturing cells was generated. Finally, the feasibility of the method was validated by practical application.
