Abstract

In this work, an all-fiber fluorescence detection method was proposed based on wavelength division multiplexing (WDM) of dual-core photonic crystal fiber (DCPCF). The air-hole region offers embodiment of fluorescence sample of 100 nL volume. On the other hand, the excitation light and fluorescence emission could be separated through the precise control of the dual-core fiber length. Finally, 11.23 dB extinction ratio between emission and excitation was achieved experimentally.
