Abstract
S aircraft skin, which is one kind of complex skins used more and more on modern planes, is difficult in processing due to its complicacy in shape. Therefore the stretching of S skin is simulated with finite element method in order to obtain the reasonable parameters in stretching. The elongation percentages are used instead of stretching coefficient to gain the jaw path as controlling parameters when simulation. Several groups of results achieved with different parameters are estimated with forming limited diagram (FLD) and springback.
