Abstract

The monodispersed PbS nanoparticles which are modified by sodium dodecyl benzene sulfonal (DBS) were prepared by microemulsion method. The transient optical properties were studied by femtosecond pump-probe method. Compared with the PbS stabilized by PVA, we found that the surface chemical environment has a very important effect on the transient optical properties. The corresponding mechanism was discussed.
