Abstract
An approach for fault detection and accommodation based on fuzzy basis function network (FBFN) is presented in this paper. The fault information is detected by using a FBFN according to the outputs of the real system and the known mathematical model of system. In order to accommodating the faults and following the outputs of the known mathematical model, another FBFN is used to obtain the feedback control input according to fault information. A simulation example of microwave landing system in an aircraft is given for illustration.
