abstract = "In order to study the fatigue life of turbine casing, a test scheme suitable for full-scale specimen is proposed. The fatigue life of a certain type of turbine casing is investigated experimentally. The slot corner is determined as the critical location according to the stress-strain analysis result and failure accidents. In the established fatigue test system, the stress state of the critical location under working condition is simulated by a pure mechanical load. Test results of the original slots, the improved slots and the repaired slots show that structural improvement measures can increase the fatigue life of turbine casing slot significantly.",
