Abstract

Fabrication and characteristics of 2-acrylamido-2-methyl-1-propanesulfonic acid (AMPSA) doped polyaniline (PANi) hollow fibers were examined. Spinning parameters for as-spun PANi hollow fibers were prepared by a dry-jet wet-spinning process. Differential scanning calorimetery and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy results showed that AMPSA-doped PANi hollow fibers can be dedoped using 1 M aq. ammonia solution.
