Abstract

The Internet of Things is recognized as the third wave of the development of the information industry. It bridges the virtual world and the real world. The unified Internet of Things across the globe will bring explosive and powerful impetus to social development. However, the inconsistency and closure of the existing IoT architecture has become a core issue that hinders the construction and evolution of the global IoT. The complexity of the Internet of Things system is studied, and the IoT architecture based on fractal theory is proposed. Using the concept of equivalent data perception and the self-similarity of fractal architecture, a unified architecture is designed to achieve the compatibility and continuous expansion of the global Internet of things to the existing local Internet of things. The use of scale-free character to establish a deep network increases the stability of the Internet of Things system. Finally, a unique address encoding method for the different levels of local Internet of Things in the fractal architecture and network layer is proposed, which establishes the foundation for realizing the integration and regrouping of local IoT.
