Abstract

This paper studied a pressure atomizer spray characteristics by experiments and numerical simulation methods. Experimental measurements pray cone angle and SMD distribution under different pressures. Using two-phase flow model VOF (Volume-of-Fluid) to simulate the flow of gas-liquid flow in the nozzle and air vortex nozzle spray angle, The results were in good agreement with the experimental. Pressure atomizer atomization performance is verified by experiment and numerical simulation methods_which provides theoretical and experimental basis for the design and combination of pneumatic atomizing nozzle spray cone angle predicted.
